Arizona-based composer and movement facilitator Jason T Ingram announces the release of The Five Rhythms: Ecstatic Dance 1979—a one-hour sonic journey designed for Ecstatic Dance, movement meditation, and freeform movement practices.

Inspired by his interactions with Indian #1 bestselling author, Yogesh Chabria, and Gabrielle Roth’s Five Rhythms and the roots of 1970s worldbeat, the album fuses Afrobeat, Krautrock, Indian classical, ambient, and jazz with live instrumentation, polyrhythms, and uncommon time signatures. Every track is mixed in 432hz Pythagorean tuning, a frequency embraced by sound healers for its therapeutic resonance.

Drawing on decades of musical exploration, the album combines the raw energy of live instruments—mandolin, violin, winds, and percussion—with digital textures, drones, and archival sounds. The result is a provocative and transcendent soundscape designed to inspire movement, break energetic blockages, and awaken the ecstatic spirit.

> “I wanted something so stimulating that it would cause people to move in ways they hadn’t considered—music that challenges, liberates, and heals.” — Jason T Ingram
